Because that's what many of PP's #AxeTheTax rally attendees think is going to happen. 🤦 Some even think they'll be buying a house straightaway once he's elected.

@Catelli The #NationalPost is a #Postmedia rag. To describe any legitimacy to it, is like claiming the #NationalEnquirer is an excellent investigative tool. Both peddle whatever BS they are fed by their owners. #CanadianMediaFailsMiserably in a role of advocate for citizens and in positioning, political issues. It is swimming in misinformation, disinformation, insinuation, and borderline slander.
I try to consume news from a variety of sources, which will occasionally include some stuff from #PostMedia papers. They have some journalists and freelancers who do good work from time to time.
But the columnists given space in the National Post are an absolute clownshow. Just desperately, pathetically aping the grievance vibe of the Murdoch papers.
