Ergens bekruipt met het gevoel dat het 'vroeger' beter geregeld was. IK werd persoonlijk als 16/17- jarige aangesproken door het #gezag van de #school, niet mijn #ouders.
Blijkbaar is nu de praktijk dat een #functionaris met een lage #status binnen de school, 'dat maar moet oplossen met de ouders'. 😖 En dan krijg je dit soort gesprekken tussen #ouders en die #functionaris: 'en wie ben U dan wel dat U over mij en mijn kind kunt oordelen'. 😖

Even with #Mastodon, the word "favourited" or "favorited"?? When writing code for the Mastodon APIs, these words are always spellchecked. I hate it.
Now #Twitter or #X just lost it. It is part of marketing and publicity.
People don't think about these things. They killed a good brand. Even Mastodon tried to get words like #toot#status and #post to stick. It is different in every single library and implementation.
