I’ve just finished binge watching Star Wars – The Clone Wars. It took several days to watch everything and the final season was SO AMAZING that I watched it in a single run. It’s really great and it has so many important episodes. It was so good to see Ahsoka finally reuniting with Anakin at the end and so sad at the same time! Rebels still is my favorite, but I’m now very fond of the Clone Wars. #starwars#ahsoka#clonewars#anakin#spoilers

#Ahsoka episode 5 inspired me to watch #TheCloneWars. And the first few episodes of The Clone Wars made me curious about the timeline.
After learning that The Clone Wars happen after #StarWars Episode I & II, I decided to watch both movies again since I've forgotten much about the story. It's a rabbit hole. 😂
PS. Also, since I've already seen #TheMandalorian, I'm now familiar with the Tuscan raiders, Boba Fett, etc. And I can recognize them in the movies. Makes the rewatching much better.
There seems to be a gap between #StarWars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and #TheCloneWars. How was #Anakin promoted to Master? And how was young #Ahsoka chosen as his Padawan? Also, how did Anakin get that scar on his face?
Last night was #HaydenChristensen ’s best work as #anakin - which is damning with faint praise. He’s not a very good actor, but age does improve one’s skills in that regard. And good character writing helps. #ahsoka#starwars
#TheCloneWars was in large part #DaveFiloni’s writing, but under #GeorgeLucas, before #Disney. At 130 episodes, the amount of content is well more than all the films put together. #Ahsoka was arguably the main character in that series, introduced in the pilot and central in the finale. While the execution in this live-action series may be questioned, Ahsoka’s role as a major character in the saga cannot.
The 4-ep finale of #TheCloneWars is simultaneous with #RotS, beginning with #Anakin & #ObiWan going off to rescue the Chancellor from #Grievous after meeting #Ahsoka for the first time since she left the order. It ends with #Order66 & its aftermath, packing for me the biggest gut punch in all of #StarWars.
