#dooku's 3 episodes in the #talesofthejedi spin-off are among my favorites. I adore dooku's philosophy pre-corruption and find it all the more heartbreaking seeing his political ideas get twisted by #DarthSidious when he started out so based - "no, we serve the people of this Republic"
Having their ship stolen when they were on the mining planet seemed a bit too contrived. They would have had better protections in place.

I'd been wanting to watch #TheBadBatch#StarWarsTheBadBatch but had been taking a break after bingeing the other #StarWars animated shows, but time became more pressing with the announcement that season three would be coming soon. And because I'd gotten a #lego#legos minifigure of Omega in the 2023 #LegoStarWarsAdventCalendar , I decided she could keep me company while I watched new-to-me Star Wars. /1
We got through the first half of season 1 that day, so here are my spoiler thoughts on the first 8 episodes of #TheBadBatch#StarWarsTheBadBatch .
I loved that #TheCloneWars#StarWarsTheCloneWars logo dissolved into the Bad Batch logo in the first episode, & that they were doing the narrator style like in Clone Wars. However, in the course of watching the show, it was hard to keep complete track of when these events happen in the internal Star Wars timeline as well as the release timeline. /2
The first thing I did after watching episode 11, season 3 was google "Uncle Ono" because...?????
I suppose we treat this like an anthology show and not expect temporal continuity? I mean there was an indicator from episode 1 of the season, I guess.
The other thing about Clone Wars is that it makes me SO MAD again about how they did Amidala wrong in Revenge of the Sith.
