Pretty sure every "sex ed" class in America should spend a significant amount of time on the numerous issues surrounding child #birth. While I certainly acknowledge the malign influence of male power #politics on the abortion debate, I think at the same time most men are woefully under-educated on just how fraught and complicated the world of bearing a #child can be. Ignorance leads to black and white thinking in a realm composed of a 1000 shades of gray. Without understanding, there can be little empathy.

"#Life begins at #conception" is a meaningless and intentionally-deceptive declaration that's meant to obfuscate the fact that #personhood begins at #birth. The #law explicitly does not provide for #legal personhood tied to ambiguous and differing opinions about when life begins. As a nurse I was so distressed to read about the horrific experience Rianna Cleary suffered and the sad death of her baby. Being locked up with no access to healthcare and support can never be acceptable.
