VMware by Broadcom 공인 자격 제도 변경 중
세일즈는 일반 온라인 교육 수료해야하며, 프리세일즈는 Proven Professional (VCP) 자격을 취득해야한다.
임플리먼트/아키텍트/지원 역할은 Certified Expert (VCAP)를 취득해야한다.
공인 자격 안증에 다시 2년의 연한이 도입 되며, 2022년 이전 취득 자격은 Broadcom으로 이전되지 않고 말소된다.
모든 파트너는 2023년 이후의 시험을 활용해 2024 자격을 취득해야 한다.
Pinnacle 그리고 distributor 파트너에게 모든 교육과 시험을 무상으로 제공한다.
Knights 자격은 조직에게 주어지며, 초대를 통해서만 선정한다.

#Broadcom advertising is an eloquent statement about its takeover of #vmware - I see programattic ads in socmed and news outlets, pointing to a weaksauce page posted in November 2023, hosting a very dull blog post and soft interviews with Broadcom's CEO. That Broadcom has been pumping this out for about 10 weeks now, even as its competitors attack, tells you how Broadcom markets - hardly at all. It's been a teensy bit more eloquent with blogs, but most recently to expand on a KB article that confused the heck out of the already wary VMware user base. VMware product release cadence is largely intact, will be interesting to see how new releases are promoted - if at all.
VMware Avi Load Balancer (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer)
2024년 1월 30일 오늘 부로 제품 정책 변경 발생하였으며, Basic Edition은 End of Availability (EoA). 1년 후인 2025년 1월 30일에 End of General Support (EoGS).
모든 고객은 1년 안에 v30.1 이상의 Enterprise Edition 구매해야 한다.
Basic Edition은 NSX 아키텍처만을 위한 배포 모드를 지원한다. 곧 사라질 NSX LB 기능을 대체하는 수준이었다.
Enterprise Edition은 배포 아키텍처에 제한이 없다.
