#SkyWatch#Astrophotography Finally some clear skies to get out under the stars again. This image of M101 aka the Pinwheel Galaxy is 192 thirty second images captured with my #Seestar50 last night and stacked and processed this morning with PixInsight. M101 is 21 million light years away in the Ursa Major constellation. It is 170,000 light years across and has a mass of about 100 billion times our Sun. #ClearSkies
The striking geometry of a modern, terracotta-colored building that rises pointedly against a clear blue sky. The sharp edge of the building's apex draws the eye upward, where a solitary contrail from an airplane etches a faint white line across the expanse of blue.

Geschafft. Also ich. Ich bin geschafft.
Für einen introvertierten Menschen wie mich ist es doch erstaunlich anstrengend, gleich zwei Sternwartenführungen nacheinander zu halten. Noch dazu, wenn es Kindergruppen sind.
Aber was tut man nicht alles 😉
Zur Belohnung gehört die Sternwarte den Rest der Nacht nur mir ganz alleine. Das Wetter passt und ich habe morgen frei.
