Exploitative practices have been common across the UK's - mainly through forms of contracts often dignified by being called 'sessional work'.... now has lost a case on the denial of employment rights to two over a 15 year period in which they were employed on 'sham contracts'.

This sort of employment is too widespread in the HE sector, so it would be good if HR departments took note & ended the practice

> A project mapping medieval England's known murder cases has now added Oxford and York to its street plan of London's 14th century slayings, and found that Oxford's student population was by far the most lethally violent of all social or professional groups in any of the three cities.

I'm looking for the book by Charles S Elton entitled "Animal Ecology and Evolution" (Clarendon Press, @oxunipress, 1930).

Do you know where I can find a digital version? Do you have a paper copy? Any suggestion would be appreciated! - boosts & RT are also appreciated!

Review of the book in @Nature 1931 https://www.nature.com/articles/128243c0

evopma,

@jgpausas @Nature @ecology @bookstodon @nature @inventaire @bookwyrm @SarahHLib specifically its science branch as a copyright library will certainly have a paper copy. Also and (also a copyright library) will do. Digital versions: you might want to contact directly.
