"The Little Victims" is a brilliant story of unconditional love—in this case, a mother for her medically mutated child.

yes, a bind mount / bind volume is when a volume is explicitly mapped to a location in your local storage rather than managed by docker and likely owned by root.

Happy to all you who celebrate it.

I'm watching the moon, and I'd be shooting photos, but for the low-hanging fog.

It's still dark so there's no progress I can make on repair work (outstanding since the hurricane of 2022, insurance claim time has run out, the contractors never came.

I've, unwillingly, stepped up to the plate.

What am I going to do, when I finish every series of ? I'm the only one, my wife won't watch it....

Rasta,

@capla Just where I am now, daily, I listen to music. After normal people are awake, I play my music to hear anywhere on my property, more than an acre in size, and the music can be heard for a mile, or more, across the ocean. But respectful times, and I will take requests. But today, I went through 1950-1990s music, and all the neighbours did too 😎 because my speakers are huge, and PRO and I'm kind enough to let them hear their TV too LOL

5's not loud enough and 6's too loud. When did that happen?

I just read that should be twice that of the , and that if too low, the sound will be muffled.
This may explain the I get from my 5 watt tube amp through a Fender GE-412 300 watt cab.

I wonder whether have a happy place for level.
I swap between a 1x10 I made and this Fender GE-412 I bought. The 4x12 is much duller.
I've used a with eq at the start of the chain and it has helped.
I read this:
https://www.fuelrocks.com/how-the-speaker-affects-the-sound-of-a-guitar-amp/
"If the speaker watts are too low, the sound will be distorted. If the speaker watts are too high, the sound will be muffled."

Hmm, I would have thought a post starting with @mention would not be visible on the main timeline but only under posts and replies but apparently not.

I guess it’s “full attention of everyone following you” or “direct message.” Would be nice to have “public but I’m not shouting it to all my followers” as the default for @mentions.

@autiomaa @krzysztofdrozdowski Not to mention (no pun intended) that there is a very real social difference between a public @mention that you don’t want to broadcast to all your followers (should be the default) vs a direct message. The default should be that you can say something to someone publicly without pointing at them and shouting “hey, everyone, listen to what I’m about to tell so-and-so!”
