I've been quiet lately but I just signed on to appear at Retro KC, a retro gaming convention in Kansas City the first week in December!

I'm sure I'll be working a lot the next few months to build stock so hopefully some good Acrylic Action is on the way.

@dannotdaniel i like it here a lot, and i've made lots of really great connections... but i had just like, a ton of connections at twitter too and they almost to a one, they didn't come to mastodon.

i kind of wish twitter would just crater already so people would settle into wherever they're going next.

5 random observations from working an artist alley table at O Con Expo 2023, in no particular order.

  1. Most kids under the age of ten associate pixel art solely with Minecraft. They would simply look at my table and exclaim "Minecraft!"

  2. Darkwing Duck is still a hit - need to bring more of him next time.

  3. Pikmin is surprisingly relevant right now, which rules.

  4. Imposter syndrome is always real, but it's getting better every time I do this.

  5. I still really, really love doing this.
