Getting psyched up for this year! Spent some travel time planning and I have at least rough ideas for every prompt, though I’m planning on combining some adjacent prompts to save time.

Since the Genuary 'prompt list' is so disappointing, I'm going to use my SciArt Prompt Generator for my creative coding inspiration.

I think I'll use it to randomly pick a prompt for each time I want a challenge.

Would you like to join me? Or just suggest prompts to add? Or both?

Let's crowdsource this.

Reply with your prompt idea, and if you'd like to be credited for it on the project page: https://artatomic.itch.io/prompts

The Genuary prompt list isn't out yet is it? Other than the joke about using chatGPT.

@Probably @kristinHenry
Yeah, there seemed to be a lot of confusion on insta last year too with a bunch of AI "art" folk trying to hijack the hashtag. The sad thing was how alike all "their" ''art" was.

My take on cubism.
Broken down simultaneous and very abstract landscapes.

"A song I sing to myself" is what I call this, because I insist on attempting clever names.
Lots of code for something trying to seem almost random, available here:

I may have attempt to animate this at some point...

Our house this year features three distinct pumpkin design styles—- ‘goth’, ‘cute’ and ‘surreal’ ( two faced pumpkin entitled ‘Fernando the mustache man and Lasagna the fish fellow’)

Yep! For me, fountain pens have definitely been the most reliable way to lay down bold lines and I love being able to play around with different inks. I sometimes use micron pens if I want very fine lines

Some for this evening in . Points are generated around the screen via a random walk, and then connected with curves altering the color and the blend mode as it progresses through the curves

Code: https://codeberg.org/TomLarrow/creative-coding-experiments/src/branch/main/x_0100/x_0102

A white background on which there are lots of blue stars and diamond shapes
A cloudy blue background on which a series of interlocking diamond like curves are drawn
Even more diamond shaped curves
