Sometimes the way people phrase things is so telling. For instance, telling women they should be "taking care of" their husband and children. Another adult doesn't need taken care of like a child, what you want is for women to be a Sex Mom.

I laughed, heartedly, & said, “Put a toaster next to the bed with a pop tart in it & I’ll push the lever down when your alarm goes off” that’s the extent I’m making your breakfast at 3 am when you’re perfectly capable. 🙄🤦♀️ People have some audacity, man.
This is crazy. Even with 20% down, that’s still $4500 a month. And exclusive of property tax—around $1000 a month?—or any HOA fee. And insurance is becoming prohibitively expensive as a lot of the big players either pull out of California altogether or severely restrict what they’ll cover.
@paninid@Holberg It’s very bad. And our governor just stripped the homeless prevention program & CalWorks (financial assistance) programs. We also are criminalizing homelessness. Californians just voted through a terrible bill that allocates funding for homeless addicts & mentally ill, but it won’t help them in a way that will help & it will only exacerbate the homelessness of families that do need assistance. It’s extremely disgusting to witness.
@paninid@Holberg I have no issues at all with helping addicts & mentally ill homeless. My dad is one of them. I just know, from experience, that trying to force them into shelters is a waste of $ & ONLY helping them & refusing to help families (with children) that do want/need to be housed, is opposite of helpful. I’m a disabled single mom that just tried to get homeless prevention assistance & was told by all agencies that they can ONLY help addicts & mentally ill.

@DrALJONES I say it’s from the past because there is no way these candidates are being replaced. It’s done. Asking about replacing them is asking about something from the past. There is ZERO possibility of either being replaced. People answering are answering fantasy proposals. I’m not saying it’s nonsense for people who like polls to ponder whimsically. Have at it. That’s why my OG comment was off the cuff about polls in general. I didn’t take it as a serious poll
@DrALJONES It’s not an accurate picture of any election outlook because it’s asking people’s wishful thinking of a step in the process that has been completed. It’s cool if you like seeing what people would have liked to have happened, after the fact. 🤷♀️

Ffs, why are you so troubled that I don’t think THIS poll is useful. It’s okay for people to not like something. I don’t trust politics polls. Who cares?
