Since the new update, every toot I see on Mastodon now has a weird little round symbol in the header next to the author and time. (Only on my tablet, not my desktop.)

In a sane country, we wouldn’t allow AR-15s in the hands of anyone, let alone a white supremacist with a history of mental issues. And we wouldn’t have to lock down whole school campuses and have students crawl out of windows to save themselves from an active shooter. Other countries have passed laws to prevent this madness. Yet, we allow it regularly to happen.

@simon_brooke @Loukas oh no, if I wasn't doing home office most of the time my commute would only be around 8km one way.
The customer location I travel too from time to time is over 100km away which I use my car or motorcycle for.
The problem with long commutes on bicycles is the time, nobody is paying you for 4 hours of traveling every day 🧐

The thing is every mode of transport has its place and use.
Even in Suburban areas a bike is useful but there is no way to get optimal connections without individual motor transport.

After 8 years its windows partition is slow, but its Debian unstable partition is still as fast as day 1
