My excitement for Crow Country has both increased and decreased after reading James Stephanie Sterling's review on the game! It's a shame that the traps feel like a slap to the face cheap, especially when combat with Guests is balanced well.

Fooling around with the VisionFive 2 again, this time trying to get a reasonable xrdp experience going so I can use it from my Mac and Windows PCs without switching display and inputs. I would probably use it much more frequently if I could do so from the main machines I work on.

So far, I've gotten an xfce4 session working in which I have reasonable performance but can't get any app windows to appear, or a GNOME session that works fine but with about a 30-second lag.

@maxleibman what Debian image are you using?Upstream kernel?
Because one of the issues is the video driver for that GPU, which I believe is now part of the 6.6 upstream kernel and latest mesa.
I believe there is also a patched mesa release for older stable Debian kernels on starfives github

@OutofPrintArchive I hated the fact that the secondary weapon functions were gone in all of the sequels. Same with Killzone 2 and 3 that had a bad story on top (Resistance at least maintained some good characters xD)

@gyptazy @cnx it ought to be fixed 5V since otherwise it'd be completely unusable.
If you use a multi voltage power supply the VF2 and the power supply decide together what voltage the box runs on (hence it can be either 5V or 12V and you wouldn't know unless the PSU shows it), however the voltage being output to the peripherals on the board are always the same, if they weren't you'd fry a fair bit of conductors on there 😅

As Hyperloop One shuts down, we need to remember that the Hyperloop was never meant to be built.

Elon Musk’s goal was never to transform transportation for the masses, but to stop or delay high-speed rail from reaching North America. Sadly, he succeeded — and we all lost as a result. While the rest of the world moved forward, the US remains stuck in the past.

The Lancia should be in the books though since it was in Dirt Rally 2.0 as well and the EA license is much bigger than what Codies had back then 🤔

True the audio in general also of the cars is superb.
The Group B cars feel insane just as they were IRL xD
The easiest to drive is the MG Metro 6R4 because it doesn't suffer from the Turbo Lag of the others xD
