For my local autism group movie nights, I am looking for recommendations of sensory-friendly movies.

Criteria include calm soundtrack, slower-paced action, quieter narrative, and no rapid cuts, fast camera movements, loud or uncomfortable sound effects or flashing lights.

Internet research only gave me results for sensory-friendly cinema events, which is not what we are looking for.

Letterboxd also has no such lists, but I will attempt to create one.

How do you do it so all columns fit in the width of my browser window? Now, if I add a list, I have to sidescroll to see everything.

@UnCoveredMyths some posts above @otheorange_tag put a screenshot with whole 11 columns on 1 screen, so I figured there must be a way that I just don't see. (My screen only fits 4 columns.)

@otheorange_tag if I zoom out my browser, it also doesn't change the column width, only the texts becomes tinier (firefox).

@otheorange_tag In my firefox, as I mentioned, ctrl+- just makes the text smaller but I can still only see 4 columns on screen. What browser are you using?

@otheorange_tag dude you're just telling me the same things again, to which I already answered that they don't work in my case. If I add more columns and zoom out to 30%, my browser still shows only the same 4 and a half columns as usual. Screenshot for illustration.

@otheorange_tag yeah you also mentioned this before, and I said without enabling this I'd have only 1 column. And my server is of mastodon, and I'd have to figure out how to contact my admin.
Another screenshot that show my options, it actually looks quite similar to yours.

@feditips @otheorange_tag I don't have a column limit. I can pin as many columns as I want. My question is just why my screen won't fit more than 4, while others can fit like 11. I really don't know how else to explain this, it seems I just keep repeating myself and no one is getting it.

I don't know how to describe it but this post 2016 society has kinda broken me in a way that I can't describe. Yes, I get it, "Lol things have always been bad" blah blah blah, but this dystopian shit is something different. I think the combination of just seeing how comfortable people have become just being outright cruel and bigoted combined with the apathy and just flat out resignation of folks who may be decent, but they've just normalized all of this bullshit killed my youthful spirit.

@BlackAzizAnansi I first wanted to remark how the feeling that you describe seems surprisingly similar to experiences of early grief -- to feel like your whole world suddenly broke apart, while all the people around you seem to go on as usual without even noticing how everything is wrong now. Then I read through some the answers concerning covid and realised that it's actually exactly the same and not that much of a surprise at all.
We have to be there for each other now more than ever.
