Wiped out by eventful & somewhat rewarding day. Began by piercing both my ear lobes (yes, I know what I'm doing). Long walk, delayed by thunder and hail, eventually took place. Climbed very high. Many more pics to follow tomorrow (too tired now). Probably saved a life (yes, really). Found a lady in her 70s, unconscious on lonely country road, bleeding heavily from head wound, after fall over 9ft wall. Long story.. details unnecessary. Anyway, a couple of teaser pics..

Hard lesson. After waiting in all day for deliveries when I'd rather have been on a long walk, I took a quick 4 mile stroll in the evening, overcast light. Didn't expect much, so I left the camera at home. So, of course, a heron decided to offer me a photoshoot, and all I had was the not so good camera on my mobile to capture the moment. Ah well, it was still lovely to see

Okay, who wants to be the first to make a pun about 'no egrets'? 😃

ALL the paranoid & misplaced fears of social conservatives about the behaviours, lifestyles, and misdeeds of others are projection. ALL of them

Long walk this morning on another new route around the valley and up into the hills. Not so many pics to share as the light wasn't the best. But it did end with a chat with a lovely setter, on her own outside an isolated property, who wagged her tail in appreciation for the company 😊

Ugh, stress dream that I tried to steal a large and very modern SUV with complex tech I didn't understand and immediately totalled it and about 6 other equally expensive cars in the parking lot. I woke in bed at the moment of being surrounded by their very angry owners and the wreckage
