Struggling to enjoy social media and media in general these days. My only issue with the Gaza protests is that we even got to the point where they were necessary. Beyond disappointing how badly Biden's blown it. I'll still vote for him, but grudgingly. My spidey sense tells me Trump will win. He's certainly not going to jail. I miss the fun parts of Mastodon, but it's impossible not to also consume the cold reality of the current "shituation."

Rain came in much later than forecasted. So I managed get a bunch of seeds planted in the garden first. Also had time to tidy up our hot mess of a garden shed and do a plein air, ink and watercolor pencil sketch of my neighbor's barn.
And today I'm tired. 😄

Ok kids. Been on Masto for an hour, and I need finish packing and get my butt in gear. I'm heading off on a solo road trip to the Bay Area for a few days, then on to L.A. to visit my daughter. No dogs, no Big Guy, just me and the WRX sailing down the CA coast with the wind in my hair. 😁

The Old Pug is still recovering from her dental. Her breath is MUCH better but she only has 9 teeth left. She's making the most of us fussing over her. This morning she boldly commandeered the Retriever's bed. We joked that she had been upgraded to a suite. 😄

Had a wonderful holiday trip, but it was long. Plus the 14 hours to drive home. Dogs are so happy to be home. The Retriever is outside somewhere with The Big Guy getting muddy. Pug and I are cozy inside. Don't think the Pug will be getting out of bed today.
