I own a Huawei P20 phone with the Leica camera. I try to take at least 1 half decent photo every day if I can.

In 2020, Apress published my first book, 'Arduino Software Internals'. My second, 'Arduino Interrupts' was published in Dec 2023. I'm writing another as well as a 2nd edition of 'Internals' to document recent changes.

At some point, my purse became a walking pharmacy. Stomach upset, got a headache? I have you covered. Need bug spray or sunscreen, what about some lotion or hand sanitizer? I've got a snack, and something to freshen your breath.

When I had surgery a few years ago, I had a weight limit of 10 pounds for 3 months! Hubs said he needed to weigh my purse to make sure I could safely carry it. I thought he was joking, turns out it weighed 17 pounds!

Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to another bank holiday Monday. Looks like the weather is back on form for today, it's raining! No surprises there then.

Yesterday's bath leak fixing job seems to have been a success! MrsD and I shared a bath last night (TMI?) and there were no leaks during bath time or afterwards when the plug came out! 👍

Yup. Taking the engineers out of an engineering company, and putting money men in charge is a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, there will be a lot of "collateral" damage as passenger deaths may be labelled!

My best man's dad, was a Vulcan engineer! He was once asked to change the gyro in one 24 hours or so, after shut down. Backing down the ladder with the gyro in hand, he turned around and the still spinning gyro threw him flat on his back!

Much as I love the Vulcan, it was crap at bombing Stanley in the Falklands! They flew all that way, refuelling as they went and got one bomb on target.

I'm also madly in love with Harriers!

@PaulNickson @Thebratdragon @BashStKid @TCMuffin @spytfyre @Man Sadly, he had a stroke years ago. Buggered up one side of his body. He went from Stan who could build or fix anything, to Stan who got extremely frustrated because half his body refused to cooperate.

He died a few years ago.

Sort of agree. My chest X ray was excellent they said. They objected to the tablets I was on for the hay fever. I did point out that I wouldn't need them underwater, but it was still a "no". 😟

Just as well it wasn't one of them new fangled Typhoon jobbies that they have up in Lossiemouth. Now they really know how to make a noise! Louder than a Vulcan but without the lovely Vulcan Howl!
