Is there a sight (or a sound) more indicative of autumn and the approach of winter, than Canada Geese migrating south?
The sound of honking and gabbling grabbed my attention as I walked along the trail on a mid-October morning. Looking up, I spotted not one but three flocks of Canada Geese flying.

The lovely and endangered Monarch Butterfly knows that life is fleeting. Let's enjoy while we can! We all need sunshine, freedom and a little flower, especially if that flower is a cheerful wild Aster!
