About Amazon's decline in recent months: I have an Amazon account I use ONLY for buying ebooks. Nothing else, ever, going back over a decade.

My recommendations page in that account now contains no ebooks, only products from categories I never purchase, like lawnmowers (I don't have a garden) and dresses (I'm a boring cis male).

I can't actually find any new ebooks I want to read via Amazon recommendations any more. And this seems to be an outcome of deliberate changes? Why would they DO that?

It's pretty definitive to say that Shingles has ruined my quality of life this month

--recurrent pain that makes it difficult to do the things I like to do and need to do

--insomnia

--fatigue

--those three have spoiled my mood and made me a meaner and less tolerant person, which I hate.

I decided to donate a 8x10 print of that Milky Way #photography 📸📷 I took to the United Way fundraiser here at work.

Judging from past efforts for me to do so, I will raise, if I am lucky... $10.

If you want to learn how to do this, I learned how to do this and took this on one of @bryanhansel 's courses.
