@StillIRise1963 i can say with certainty, that big tech algorithms ABSOLUTELY promote racism, as if you walked into a small town saloon.
I developed a habit before bed to scroll through fb and yt reels.
They progressively get more racist and hate filled, and definitely more pro-trvmp regardless of what types of reels you view and/or like.

    They honestly sicken me more than magas do...I'm finding I'm following a bunch of them too because they bait us with occasional boosts and toots implying they could be rational until they unmask themselves.

    I don't watch tv, but I've been holed up for the past 4 days, recovering from a procedure.
    I cannot stomach prime time tv. Even sitcoms are overbearing and just too unrealistic for my interests. I usually settle on PBS for any Nova, documentaries, or lighthearted antiques roadshow type stuff.
    In between those, ive switched over to msnbc because I've enjoyed clips ive seen of Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell.
    Ive been pretty shocked at what I've been seeing...1/3

    First of all, Ill state that I refuse to watch Andrea Mitchell. She is absolutely awful and one of the worst anchors ive ever seen. (*This includes fox hosts fwiw).
    I've witnessed some of the most partisan political coverage I've seen since monitoring fox news.
    Some of the leaps that are being made from completely unrelated topics, to disparage trvmp are nothing short of ludicrous.
    Not sure of the anchor but around 1030 est (short haired brunette) was speaking about the Kate Middleton...

    Should they reelect trvmp, I believe no one will cry in terror and despair more than 85-90% of those who enabled it.
    When they realize what they've done they'll (of course), point fingers at the 'fake news' which failed to inform and warn them (*which is actually valid) until the realization that they were conned is no longer deniable.
    I'll have no empathy for a single one of them. As they have long abandoned that emotion, in favor of pain being inflicted on who they believe are their lessers.

    @RickiTarr ...that doesn't explain the entire spectrum, obviously. There are helper-types who appreciate the finality of the investigation, and there are cynical savior types who think they know better from a program than the police at the actual scene and 'they got it all wrong'...
    There's really no limit to how varied the reasons are for the obsession. Are some harmless and some concerning? Absolutely.
