Do not try to pull more than the rated current from a cheap Chinese Solar Charge controller's USB output.

It came bundled with a 2x80W panel, and always seemed to underperform compared to one of the super-cheapo controllers I've used before, even though it has all fancy-pants XT60 connectors rather than the usual screw terminals.

Anyway, I guess there's not much point in replacing the chip - I've definitely got more trustworthy USB outlets that I can use instead...

Sadly I can't help with sci-fi-themed scarecrows, but here's a few I met in Hingham, Norfolk a little while ago...

Two rabbits made out of straw are leaning against a wall. The skirt-wearing one of the two is holding a large fake carrot.
A scarecrow that looks like it might be an old granny is sitting on a pink chair outside a shop, next to a large plastic national lottery sign.
A scarecrow wearing some kind of white toga is surrounded by three more wearing burgundy coloured dresses. As they are holding note sheets they may be church choir singers.

    I often see Bandcamp release with just a single track in it. I tend to skip those, as I like to get albums, and a chunk of music at once, instead of having to download/organize a bunch of single releases.

    As an artist I completely get why one wants to release their track straight away and not wait weeks/months years for getting an album together.

    As a buyer what I'm not keen on is if an artist releases a whole bunch of single tracks and then eventually an album containing the exact same track with one or two extra songs.

    In general I'm definitely more likely to get a single if it at least has a B-side (yes, I'm old and like media that you have to turn over). EPs are great as well!
