@birdibirdson That one feels weird to me.
Technically it's top notch, but in terms of the choice of motion, I'm not convinced.
If the sword is magic/moved through telekinesis, I find it weird that the arms/hands move like they are swinging.
I think i would have preferred an arm motion that indiicate "spell magic" (like some hand gesture in front of the character).
Or maybe keep the same motion, but only for one arm ? having the two arms swing together in the air just doesn't work for me.
@runevision Thank you! The sword creates a force on the box in the direction it's stuck in when recalled. The box stops due to friction and the values add up to 3 tiles.
The current placeholder animation for returning might not convey this pulling force very well
@birdibirdson Oh ok, so it’s just designed to be 3 units. To me it didn’t feel like friction due to being so fast and snappy, whereas friction tends to slow down more at the end. But maybe it makes more sense / feels more like friction when actually playing the game.
@birdibirdson I find it kinda irritating that the perspective flips horizontally when entering. I mean, it makes sense if you think about it, but feels weird nonetheless.
@njamster yes, I will experiment with having the door in the foreground to avoid the rotation. Then there would also be enough space for the fireplace :o
