Wandern in Südtirol. Zwei traurige Erkenntnisse:

1. Das Ausmaß der durch Borkenkäfer verursachten Waldschäden (wohl ähnlich überall sonst) ist erschreckend. Es muss so viel gefällt werden, soviel Wald ist kaputt.

2. Die Schäden durch die Skifahrindustrie sind enorm: Ganze Bergflanken gerodet, nur um Platz für die Pisten zu machen. Diverse, umfangreiche Bauarbeiten, die die Natur zerstören (Beschneiungsanlagen, dafür notwendige Rohre, Abwasser und künstliche Stauseen, Skilifte, Entertainment).
