Does anyone know of a way to buy an EV that doesn't relentlessly spy on the driver/passengers and send the data to whoever the carmaker feels like selling it to?

Related: Does anyone know of a service in the Bay Area that will disable all the surveillance that was, without my knowledge or permission, built into a 2008 Prius?

I hate how they make headphones wear out so quickly. I remember having headphones that would last seemingly decades when I was a kid. Now they start to crumble after a year.

It sucks.

If it helps:
Replacing the pads is just kicking the can down the road. If you're patient & peel off all of that black plastic. Your headphones won't look as great, but they'll feel & sound the same. Did that to a pair of Sennheisers I own 10 years ago, still using them, haven't deteriorated any further.

I'm probably (slightly) obsessive about stuff. A few years ago I got into analogue photography (film) then I took a deep dive into glass plate photography. Then I combined my love of glass plate photography with my astronomy obsession, and my analemma fascination was born. So far I have shot 3 successful analemmas. Each one of these images was a year in the making; I took a picture each day at the same time and then had to go into a darkroom and see what developed!
