@LeftistLawyer so talking about the ways that 'over population' has been used as a part of movements that have attempted to - literally - steralise african women is me nitpicking?

do we ignore the history of this idea and what it has brought about? UN sacttioned interventions where food aid was reliant on women being steralised? seems we will accept anything from our place in the global north because of climate change.

I ate the exact same lunch from kindergarten through high school.

Then I really "mixed it up" in adulthood and would eat the same lunch for 2-5 years before shifting to the "next lunch" phase.

Yet it took till my mid-30s to learn I'm 🙃

...just one of so many things I look back at and think "All the signs were there!"

she's unhappy that people have been included inthe Census.

She writes that 'Without its accurate population data – including on important characteristics such as sex, ethnicity and social class – researchers and pollsters cannot know whether they can draw reliable conclusions relating to the whole population from their sample, because they have no idea of the extent to which it is representative of wider society'

@guardian This seems fair however ‘campaigners with a minority worldview’ ( folks) led to it getting ‘into a mess over sex and gender identity.’ This mess? They recorded the population and, even worse, found out that it was bigger than expected.
