I’m interested to see if any of the candidates to replace #McCarthy will have to maintain the ludicrously low threshold for a motion to vacate that McCarthy had to accept to win the gavel. The job is worthless if #Gaetz can just do this again. If I was #HakeemJeffries I’d dangle Dem support with a high threshold and an end to the #Impeachment nonsense. But that would have to be ironclad.
