@RickiTarr Women have been taught for millennia that they are not the leaders of the world, and that if they were to become aggressive it would be perceived as being 'less feminine' and less attractive to men.
Being aggressive by asking for things is a 'learned male trait' and women (even now) are accused of being 'bitches' 'ball breakers' and other nasty names. That's why we don't 'demand' things, we ask politely for them. it's not something easy to end or unlearn.
