I treat it as canon that all Logan, like Hugh Jackman, really wants to do in life is perform musical theatre. Wolverine is just the monster society forces him to be.

Like, the rest of the mutants are all "that Wolverine he so tough" but back at the mansion him and Cyclops are just off doing Les Mis duets in the kitchen.
