I'm getting an HTTP/429 error when trying to access the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive) over a VPN. For context, it's worth noting that the Wayback Machine has a history of not respecting the robots.txt standard, which can lead to a higher server load. But, now, they are blocking VPN and data center ranges. Lmao. Oh, this is such irony.

@nixCraft robots.txt isn't standard. It's just a good neighborhood policy that some bots follow in order to avoid being blocked.

You can use milk yeast (lactose) in certain beers to get lime and orange taste. But that's bacteria, not milk itself.

Anyone else on find that many videos just don't work?

Videos take forever to load and then just, never finish. Same video on my desktop loads instantly.

I'd guess it's a codec thing, but I can't really tell that from the client heh. I just see video toots not working at all. Whereas it works fine on desktop.

EDIT: Forcing a reboot on my phone fixed the issue. This must be an issue with the native renderer on my phone, since Tusky patched to using the native video renderer end of last year.

Fucking phones. They are awful.
