So every week I make a playlist of metal for Saturday morning to listen to with my kids. The closer from a couple days ago was "Coma" by Guns n Roses. Today, W says to me, "yo, Coma f---ing slaps!" Apparently he spent all day listening to it on repeat on Monday.

I am so glad Twitter is disintegrating! I work at night! I am a mom! I live in central Alberta. I don't want to talk about Alberta, though. I miss my dogs (they are dead). I don't drive anymore, but if I did I would drive a PT Cruiser, it is the best car, hands down. I've owned two. I am learning to cycle by riding a boomery e-bike. I like Diet Coke. I have ADHD. I used to be a journalist, lol.

    @jkirkendall Oh wow, that’s cool! It seems super sensible so long as there are folks willing to do it. I kinda can’t imagine living with a stranger, personally. But also since it’s not common, I don’t have any examples of how it goes. Maybe if I knew of people doing it, it would seem more plausible.

    @liztai Is your position that hate and racist speech should be moderated by the platform or the community?

    If it’s moderated by the community, I’m personally going to be extremely careful which community I join, and what controls are in place. I’ve been in “lightly / not moderated” communities before, and those have honestly been terrible about protecting whatever the “out group” is. See: Nazi bar problem. :)
