I've done two tutorials on this and I think the confusing bit is where you can keep the lib on the machine in a different project all while simultaneously delveloping the lib.

For this , I remember that it's this tiny mesh gives so much life to Fire Exit, our end-of-the-world crisis-management game.

@aral That's okay; you could live in the US instead and be completely dominated by giant companies that disrupt your job and ensure that you will never be able to retire or buy a house and the government regulates nothing ever because "ahem Well, that would be un-American" whatever that means.

The URL leads to a pastebin for a Ruby script I have been writing for the past 2-3 days. It’s called mk_rustman.rb on my system. They will turn JSON files for Rust docs into UNIX manpages, with Groff ROFF macros for man (groff_man)....

i can't believe that people think that @eLife 's model is bad. being able to flip to the 'peer review' tab gives me about a billion times more information about the work than... not having that. which is the alternative that critics seem to prefer.

Everyone uses Word Documents and even when you try to break them into small pieces and link them together; people print them out and on paper, the links don't work.

how come computers don't like write down what touches the files. like i am trying to remember this series of commands i took to scrape and clean an archive, and would it really have been so hard to just keep track so i could look up the history of commands that had modified these files. i'm not even asking them to write down every time the files get touched, just when i am doing it from my typehole, is that so much to ask? what do we even pay these shock rocks for.

@vlrny I do that all the time, I think I have since birth. The loopback is strong with this one.

It's caused some confusion too though.

A roommate of mine walked in when I was talking out loud to other people on messenger and he had an entire conversation with me he said I agreed something and I didn't realize the conversion had occurred.
