@aral it is sad to see this kind of thuggish behaviour from the US against international organisations, but then again they were one of the few that never wanted the powerful to be accountable for their crimes during the many years that led to the current ICC.

"Just use Linux" is much like "just ride a bike" or "just shop at a refill store" - accessing the non default option can be time consuming, expensive or unavailable locally. We need to recognise you need a certain degree of privilege to have the capacity to complicate your life voluntarily. We need to be trying to make the better, harder thing more accessible, not blaming people for not using it.

@afewbugs and although I am not disabled there's quite a lack of proper support for things like screen readers under Linux desktop environments, whose development has been lagging a lot compared to some rather less useful features. This and the elitist attitude about many quirks (read: bugs) is usually what drives me away from recommending it to non technical people, although I've been using it for decades on personal devices.

Another near miss with calamity today my friends 😭😬. I had more lung testing at the vet hospital but it turned out my appointment wasn't actually booked 🤔. So I got to come home with humum, she'd never leave me there 😁🎉 and maybes we'll find out what's happening about da testing. Very strange. Anyhows, I'm a million gazillion times better than I was. Hopefully I won't need more tests after all, paws crossed! :abunhdowohop: :PennyBun:💕

The command iftop shows ongoing bandwidth usage on one or more network interfaces and is a great tool for troubleshooting network issues.

@sebastianlaube @EUCommission probably the same reason why Germany is DE and not GE, Spain is ES, etc. It's using the name in Greek (Elliniki)

@sebastianlaube @EUCommission yeah ISO 2 has some strange anglocentric things going on, Greece should probably have been EL for consistency with other cases. In the EU the codes are derived from the name in the country's language (the only exception I think is Austria that for some reason uses the Latin name instead of the German one).

@AVL_5 it has been some interesting few weeks around here regarding space related phenomena: first we had the auroras (that weren't seen since the 19th century) and now a meteor illuminating the sky XD however both times I was too distracted to know beforehand 🤭

Skye’s “tell” is that she twists or snaps her head- this is when she is doing something norty or thinking about doing something norty. She’s never be able to play poker- she’d be head twisting and binkying all over the place when she had a good hand…! 🃏 ♣️ ♥️

Here’s a little example from just now. (Sound) #Busted

When Skye is called out snuffling something on the carpet her head snaps up and twists slightly

We are having a quiet start to our Sunday. ❤️ It is almost imperceptible, but right as the video cuts off she sighs a happy sigh (can kind of see it in her tummy). #SundayIsBunday

Note/ The scratches on BunMum are from working with bushes outside, not Skye. She never scratches or bites us. 🥰

Bunny gets a loving pat from BunMum. Pat starts over eye and goes over the back. The second pat starts with a booper rub on the couch and goes over the ears. A tiny happy sigh expands her chest at the end.

So apparently I've been doing so much bunArt and bunCarpentry that bunDad bought an industrial vaccuum cleaner to be able to catch everything 🦫 it says it's perfect for home projects so I guess it's good for bunProjects as well 🤭🤭

@Satori 🤣🤣 bunDad has already killed one with hays and fur, the other one is bag-less and is clinging to life 🤭 the industrial one is nice due to having a rubber brush attachment that is nice for fur, and a small attachment that works well for hay and wood bits that are left from my embeaverification training 🦫🦫 it also works with waters, uses large bags (good for hays), and has a good air filter 👀 it is not as comfy to use but there are better ones. @Satori (bunDad) I find it funny when they say: nice for pets, and in the first time I used it I almost killed the poor thing with fur 🤣 I had to use a small handheld vacuum to clean the turbine since Lua's fur passed the filter 🤣

BunMum: Skye doesn’t “chin” items very often and this was an exciting, very rare catch tonight! 🥰😄 The white rabbit stuffie even came with her when she was in ICU twice- she loves her dear little friend. :BunnyHeart:
