This reinforces my suspicion that is facing a cash flow crunch due to flagging sales. They’re in a vicious cycle right now of price reduction to goose sales, which reduces revenue, prompting more price reductions etc. This bodes poorly for the company.

@drahardja I believe the main hurdle is even cheaper Chinese EVs and the latest CATL announcement of -50% LFP prices this summer.

Chinese car market will hit 45% EVs this year and Tesla isn't in the price range to compete. They've got to do something.

The layoffs are just the usual every 2 year lay off 10% cycle they've had for years.

Anyhow here's the price changes from beyond Ukraine war. Not so dramatic I'd say more like returning to the normal.

@aral @greenWhale we need a book full of classic mistakes and results of there of.

I dropped the only development database the day before a marketing website release date. ( Oh the wild 00's )

After that we moved into development on a developer's machine and added migrations instead of ad-hoc creating tables on a server.

Tämän lisäksi kokoomus yleensä pääsääntöisesti rapauttaa veropohjaa jonka seurauksena alijäämää jää aina entistä enemmän.

Seuraavaksi kokoomus yleensä syyttää tehotonta valtionhallintoa esim. vanhustenhoito joka pitää yksityistää. Lopputulos on yleensä entistäkin kalliimpi ja laadullisesti huonompi.

@thomasfuchs physical controls for key driving functions like fog lights are much nicer than touch only. But for modern cars to introduce manual AC-controls is return to 80's where car couldn't hold the temperature.

In my car I adjust temperature couple of times in a year and when I do I use speech control.

Maybe EU boffin is just talking about Tesla.

Pulling my brains out here. I've got a simple python script that listens to a port, but when I try to access that IP and port from a different computer (on the same network), it can't connect.

I've disabled macos firewall - there's got to be another firewall somewhere.

Anyone know?

Nimarata is a beautiful name. It's also Nikki Haley's first name.

Every time racist and xenophobic people in her base see that her name is Nimarata, she loses voters. The name has no impact on non-racist/non-xenophobes.

Her performing anti-Blackness and transphobia to try to win the presidential seat, or help Trump get elected and win the Vice Presidential seat, is bad.

Not bringing up the name Nimarata, helps her maintain the white supremacists in her coalition. That is what I don't want.
