For those who don't know, you can actually read your audible books on Windows through iTunes. I just discovered this and yeah, it works like a charm. Just download your book from the library using the website and load it up and it'll ask if you want to authorize audible to work with Itunes and it'll ask for your Apple ID and you've got Audible for Windows.

It feels like I'm the only person who still didn't get covid.

Most of my family had it, some of them twice, most of my friends had it at least once, but I somehow never did.

Granted, I spend most of the pandemic in isolation, masked up whenever I actually had to go anywhere and got vaccines as soon as they were available, but still.

Landed in London, gotta be honest while being here is difficult I also needed a break from Israel. I can't stay anywhere too long, I'm an explorer in nature. Will have a chance to look at this city I lived in for nearly 5 years from the perspective of a tourist as my American boyfriend comes over for a little bit. Hope to have fun and be as ignorant to the anti-semitism as I can as a Jew just for a little bit, hoping it doesn't target me, just wanting to live in peace and have fun.

I've been deeply struggling with severe OCD and PTSD for the past few months following October 7th in which my family was directly affected. I decided to leave London due to the rising anti-semitism (1,350 percent rise by Met Police) and hard experiences I had the past months. You know someone truly cares about you when they not only choose to give you a gift, but they put a mountain of thought into it. That's what I care about. People are always so worried about whether or not I will like what they give me. If you put thought into it, I'm automatically going to love it. If you give me something you know I hate just to get my name off your list, you might get a kick in the shins for being insensitive. I think doing something just to get someone's name off your list is insensitive.

Why do I not add warnings when speaking about Hamas's brutality? No one adds hashtags when saying "free Palestine". The reason I left London to go back to Israel in an acute mental health state is the lies and hate towards my country and family and lack of support and pure denial of the crimes against humanity on the 7th of October. If it causes you panic to read but then you just go ahead and spread lies about Jews, have that panic attack, maybe you'll understand a fraction of our suffering.

Anyome out there play using the Tobi Accessibility Mod? If so, anyone could tell me how to install it right? I don't know what I'm doing. I got both Doom and Doom 2 on Steam because I thought that's what you needed. Any ideas? Thanks.

    For years, i've wanted some kind of virtual reality voice chat application. At a party or other social gathering, you can wander around and talk to people while hearing parts of the conversations around you. Nothing available to us really simulates that in a good way. Being able to walk around a virtual space with binaural audio and proximity effects would be really interesting. Even a sidescroller situation would be interesting, and maybe ultimately less confusing. The demand for it probably isn't there, and I don't do much group conversation lately, but it's still an idea I find appealing for some reason.

    Attention podcast listeners, being in front of the microphone 7 days a week is starting to get a little bit tiring.     If anybody wants it, I have an activation-locked M2 MacBook Pro with 32GB RAM and the highest specs.

    It was given to me during a consulting job. I never again managed to get in contact with anyone. I tried getting ahold of someone to either return it or have it unlock for months with no luck. I don’t think anyone cares.

    I feel bad about throwing this kind of high end hardware into the recycling bin, but this is the only option provided by Apple (what a great way to increase sales!! 🤑🤑).

    I mean, I can think of several reasons, but too bad I'll do it anyway.

    Knowing the leanings of the folks on this particular platform this is likely to spark some debate, but note that I'm not trying to paint YouTube as a saint - in fact, the first thing I want to talk about is a strategy they've taken which puts me and all YT creators in a weird place:
