Problem: I have two DB tables, and I’m trying to select from the first table for records that do not exist in the second table. Over time, as I process each record, I’ll write to the 2nd table, and then those records will be excluded on subsequent queries.

Pretty standard stuff. The queries are easy to write, and there are several ways to write them (e.g. left join where is null, where not in subquery, where not exists subquery).

Just had to turn off the Emergency Alerts app notifications. Feels like a wildfire alert every 10 minutes or more. Keeping an eye on Social Media should be good enough.

None are near Red Deer at this point anyway.

This is neat. Porchfest NDG is a weekend-long festival where residents of Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood play 1 hour concerts on the front porches, yards, etc.

    @chris Memories of my government consulting days. Those systems (Cisco I believe) were awful.

    I remember explaining many times pre-pandemic to people that Zoom calls when working remotely aren't at all like that. (Different problems, but so much better in comparison)

    I just found out one of my domain registrars, register.to, no longer exists, due to the death of it's owner earlier this year.
