Day 2 #covid pos.

Isolating in the spare bedroom.
Partner (also retired nurse) refuses to give me a little bell to ring whenever I need a snack or a coffee or something. 🤷‍♂️

Arthralgia, sore throat, cough.
My aching back and joints kept me awake most of the night.
Listened to some great #climateChange podcasts tho
& when I did doze off I had some pretty wild dreams.

Overall, I would score myself 8/10 on the feel-like-crap-o-meter ( that's a 4.5 adjusted for man-flu bias)

None of them (n=13) have a grasp of the magnitude of the #climateEmergency.
All of them believe technology will solve any problems as they arise.

5 of them consider my position alarmist and doomerist.

10 of them did not want to engage in any arguments/conversations to explore this topic.

5 are now at the Xmas sales buying more landfill.

Is this true?
Seems there is no evidence to back up this factoid.

There will however, without any doubt, be a catastrophic metric shit-tonne of plastics.

I pretty much eat a plant-based diet, but I don’t make a big deal of it.
If I go out to someone’s house for dinner and they serve me meat. I’ll eat it without complaint. after all, I don’t want to be a dick about it.

Well, no more.

Starting next year, that will no longer be the case. I will consider my vegetarianism a form of education, a form of compassionate activism

Or.…compashavism.
