but one thing I've always liked about him is his knack for saying whats Forbidden By Orthodoxy. in the recent brouhaha:

1. all discrimination is bad

2. but discrimination against whites is the only "allowed" kind in some circles who otherwise view themselves as the morally righteous

its this latter phenomenon which nauseates and irritates millions, and helps to alienate them and drive them to vote for parties you might not like

both of these things are true:

• cryptocurrencies use cases to date are mainly for bad folks wanting to launder criminal money flows, or engage in black markets. (eg. Rus, Iran, Hamas)

• ordinary, non-evil people do need a way to move money around between each other without rando bureaucrats being able to spy on it, block it or seize it. moving a number from one account balance anywhere into a different one, anywhere else, should be as easy and private and foolproof and cheap as we can make it
