I swear, sometimes I'm ridiculously sensitive. I'm watching #IndianaJones#TheLastCrusade and I'm feeling bad for the sewer rats running away from the fire set to smoke Indy out like "aw. Poor babies didn't deserve that".
As I work today I'm listening to the soundtrack from the 1982 Conan the Barbarian film that was composed by Basil Poledouris. Things are feeling fairly barbaric at the moment here in the Arizona desert

Shown Ghostbusters (1984) to my 9 year old kid and she “didn’t know what to think of it”, which is a small victory considering she deemed Jurassic Park (1993) “boring”.
I saw that movie once as a kid and loved it and never could find it again. I think my dad rented it from the video store on base, and they stopped carrying it at some point. None of my German friends had ever heard of it.
Wasn't until over a decade later that I got confirmation that I hadn't actually dreamed it or something.
