Frequent "buy my book" - is annoying and I am good at not spending time looking at that

Ridiculous hype, unhelpful quotes "eighth book in the VoidLords series", bad covers don't help.

I’m looking for new, preferably free/low cost, ways to help me continue learning German.

I’ve been at it casually over the last year and want to continue learning more.

I’m ADHD and have limited cognitive and physical energy due to some long covid stuff, so if you do recommend something please keep that in mind. Thank you! 🤗

Health update.

You may know I had covid 7 weeks ago. It appears it did not leave me without any after effects. So-called now appears to be my present and future reality. Currently, my left lung registers discomfort if I breathe. This will likely pass in time but then I also lost my senses of taste and smell when I got covid and these, as yet, haven't returned. Who knows what wonders await?

Just be aware that is not a consequenceless disease for everybody even if you were one of the people who just thought it was a cold.

@autoerot1ca im just about over it. 2 years from my last bout, and I’m feeling well enough to start running again. Have gone from completing 37 mile ultra marathons to out of breath walking the dog. Hearing is still affected. Balance a bit iffy. But I am getting better. Hope your journey is better.

@whknott and so it came to pass. As the elders had said, the sky child would appear, silent, unseeing, at the end times. Anyone who acknowledged it’s existence would simply cease to be. For a race of mechanical beings, brought up on terrific stories of sentient organic beings that lived this was truly terrifying. Yet they had to do their best to ignore the fear, any weakness, any slip would see them stop, crumple, and become mere world junk.

There seems no end to the variety of beautiful tiling in the tenements of Glasgow. This was a design I came across today in a close in Yorkhill. It's repeated all the way up the stairs.
