@ivory before the latest update, all of my followed tags would be visible in the tags tab, now for some reason I can’t see if I type it in, it also doesn’t show up. It works fine in other mastodon clients. Does this make any sense to you? I’m so confused.

I also get a different set of search results depending if I capitalize S or not, with steam deck still not included.

@majorlinux I buy a lot of my music on Bandcamp. Apple Music is great for casual listening and discovery, but my favorite albums are purchases.

Digging through some old controllers and I now realize, while it was annoying at the time, a controller that takes AA batteries is a much better long-term investment. My Xbox One controllers are holding up a lot better than my PS4 controllers.

    @ryanhoulihan Actually yea, it's really just combining three existing things ChatGPT and Voice Recognition and Text to Speech.

    I imagine the only reason it doesn't exist yet is because it's still a tad slow for real-time.

    It would be like conversing with someone via satellite.

    The thing about the alternatives, none of these companies, Asus, ROG, or Lenovo, have any incentive to continue support on released devices.

    They aren't building a platform like , they are simply selling some hardware.

    I appreciate the competition, but in my opinion, the steam deck experience will beat the others out any day.

    @jay Not my experience at all aside from my initial messing with emulators. I’m quite happy with solid 30 or 40 FPS.

    @rose My 12 year old kid got frisked a couple weeks ago by the TSA. She was wearing overalls with metal buckles. I had to sit down and explain that she wasn’t in trouble.

    RHS Fun Fact: During the filming of the Rocky Horror Picture Show the cast and crew had an easter egg hunt - but did not find them all. As a result some of them were still on the set during filming and you can find them throughout the film. There is some debate - but many say this is where the term "Easter Egg" originated for those little hidden bits in film and TV shows.

    Alright what is the best product for cutting finger grease off gaming controllers, game boys, etc? What's everyone's ritual to keep these things consistent and un-shiny? I even wash my hands before grabbing a controller most times but the stuff still seems inevitable and gentle cleaners don't seem to do much.

    @SirTapTap I have always used low percentage isopropyl alcohol, like 60%. No clue if it’s the best, but it works well for me.
