@ai6yr and now that I've skimmed the article, for a potentially fatal defect, getting around to mailing out notification letters in June seems like treating it with less than urgency ...

@colo_lee Ha, they're blaming the issue on an "unapproved lubricant (soap)" required to get the pedal pad onto the accelerator pedal.

When I saw your post, I started to look into how many of the CyberFucks had been delivered (sold), but the info wasn't clear since Tesla seems to be trying to obfuscate the number.

Anyways just saw this post, it looks like they've only delivered about 3,000 of them which is not a good sign for profitability imo, but I'm not actually qualified to know that for sure so this is NOT financial advice.

Which is a pretty stupendous number for the model that's supposed to save the company and was worth cancelling their lower cost model for.
