@davemark I just tried it for a while. I won every single game, and I realized that you’re not actually playing against people. When I was playing one game, someone rang my doorbell, so I had to stop playing and answer the door. When I came back, three minutes later, the game was still waiting for me to play. So it’s just using two pseudo AI players to play against you.
@davemark heck of a lot of tracking tentacles attached to that game as you open it. May have been why I had banished it back to the cloud earlier. (Sure Sign in with Apple)
What are the particular Apple Arcade aspects? Merely playing through an Apple TV in a big screen? Can multiple phones in a room be used as contestant buzzers?
@davemark I think about it for ANY game that offers to sign you in with Google or Facebook.
You might have skipped through that, no big deal. I take it as a Harbinger and back away without ever entering the app. At the least invasive it is probably going to pummel me with notifications to urge engagement.
It’s the design philosophy that has me going’no thanks’ to possible downsides.
