@benbloodworth Because devs don’t test for it until the very end when it’s hard to make changes to their codebase to optimize for it.

@oobleck @benbloodworth It’s gotten a lot better recently. Safari’s web compatibility testing results have been shooting up faster than any other browser in the past couple years, largely thanks to Jen Simmons’ leadership. Nicole Sullivan (formally Chrome lead) just joined.

But also yes, I still run into stray bugs, regressions, and a few missing features from time to time.

BUT it has gotten significantly better.
