@chris_hayes @gabboman @dansup it encourages terrible practices. It’s literally no better than writing in-line styles. Totally non-semantic. Do future you and the rest of your community a favor and don’t use tailwind. I implore you.

    It’s so very close already. The only things I can’t do yet with vanilla are mixins, loops, and extends (which are dubious to begin with). I guess custom functions too, although you can get pretty creative with existing css functions. We even have color manipulation with broad browser support with the functions!

    I find very powerful, yet quite unintuitive. I think I've got it, but I had a bugger of a time writing a custom operator that does this for any given -like stream in a generic way:

    Pause the source stream until stream2 completes. Then replay the last emission from the source. Then allow all subsequent emissions from the source unimpeded.

    @lulu_powerful @frontend Me too. I started with , then tried , followed by . They’re all awesome and gave me a taste for what’s possible. was my favorite pre-config.

    But I decided there is a lot going on that i don’t need and i want to know exactly what’s going on in my config. So i cloned kickstart.nvim, read every line of it before using it, snip, cut, fhrhuhfvhtfffggtgg, and am having a blast tailoring it to me.

    My MacBook battery loves it.

    I have accounts in , , , and because I want to try all the things. But it’s starting to feel redundant. Especially between Kbin and Lemmy.

    I’m trying to figure out a useful blend or system for interacting with all of them with the minimum number of discrete accounts and apps. A /, if you will.
