Have any apps integrated the ability to hide posts?
One of the best features of Apollo IMO was the ability to hide read posts, so every time I launched the app, it was new content....

I just put in three skip laurel bushes. I don’t want to kill them by crowding them, but I wanted to plant flowers around to make the empty area pretty. How close can I plant? What should I plant?
This what I see when I try to access Lemmy.World. I did clear my cache since forever....
Tomorrow I’m deleting my 12+ year Reddit account, but before that, I want to delete all my posts and comments. Are there any specific extension recommendations? I tried searching “nuke reddit history” but it’s not supported anymore/extension page is gone. There are also new bulk deleting extensions with no ratings that...
After setting up accounts on different Lemmy instances, I think it would be great for a new user to be able to easily subscribe to a bunch of communities without doing it one by one. It doesn’t strictly have to be curated; it could be top 50 posts count or whatever. You can then add or remove additional communities....
When I view https://lemmy.world/post/801298, I see (what I think to be) the most up-to-date version of that post in the !wefwef community. However, when I view the same post from my account on programming.dev, the thread is way outdated: https://programming.dev/post/292745. What's going on? This is very frustrating. It seems...
I'm still figuring things out. My account is on lemmy.world, and I noticed that when I browse /all, I see a lot of posts in communities that are on lemmynsfw, but if I go to lemmynsfw.com directly, most of those communities don't show. In fact, going directly, most of the posts on lemmynsfw actually look SFW - they're on...
I've noticed that often Kbin.social posts show far fewer comments on Lemmy.world than if I go directly to Kbin. Eventually it seems to resync, which got me wondering: how often do Lemmy.world and Kbin.social (and/or other federated instances) sync with each other?
I tend to at least look at every work email I receive. Likewise for Teams messages. If I see a notification of a new communication, I tend to check it and see if I need to respond. I don't always respond, but I always look at the message....
One concern I have with moving to Lemmy is the server upkeep costs. I realize that there is a donation option available to aid in server upkeep,...
I've been enjoying some classic shows' '90s/'00s revivals/reboots like Twilight Zone and Outer Limits lately, but I'd love to know of some other series with a similar anthology style to them....
Feeling really shitty today. What meme makes you smile or laugh every time?

I need to make a few polls - free, no registration for either side, no Big Tech crap. Results shall be visible to those who voted....
There are a lot of communities I follow there, especially the Mlem app updates....
so, I created a post on lemmy.world/c/formula1 using the memmy app: https://lemmy.world/post/687511 But I can't see it when logged in, only when I'm not logged in through the browser or from clicking a comment in my profile....
Struggling with federation and sync issues on lemmy.world the past few days, apparently the update is expected to fix most of the problems. Anyone have a clue when version 0.18.1 is expected to release?
I just want to know one thing that made you smile today.
I’d like to keep track of what features and bugs are currently being worked on and what of these changes have a chance of making it into the next version....
I migrated over and wanted to now play an active role in the community. Yay! Im trying to post some pottery but my pictures are rotated wrong once uploaded. Is there an easy way to fix that? Of course the phone has it oriented differently!
So I downloaded Lift Off from Github and love the app. Clean interface as Infinity for Reddit however when I upvote a post , it says you’re not logged into lemmy.ml. How can I upvote a post without creating an account in every instance ?
A week ago I was all excited... It looked like we had momentum. I even created a few local communities and the people came. Fast forward to today: my local communities are dead (no posts in many days) and 90% of the posts I see on the All: Hot have zero comments, 9% have 1 comment, and 1% have 2 or more comments. Despite the...
I try doing a search for !pcgaming[@lemmy.ca but says not found. The website for https://lemmy.ca/c/pcgaming is up and running but I can't find the community. Is there something I'm overlooking or not considering?...

I stumbled upon !cottagecore and found the sublemmy really interesting
