Just finished reading this - it's an amazing story about an unsuccessful author who plagarises her dead friend's work and how things spiral out of control from there......

It used to be a todo list set up where I just check off and add whatever books caught my interest but it wasn't very shareable so I moved onto storygraph which I liked more than goodreads as the data visualization and breakdown of books via tags and moods gives me a better idea of where I tend to lean in books I seek out and...

What the title says, I’m tired of the trope where humans are the least advanced in the universe....

Hey folks! I’m looking for some audiobook ideas (preferably fantasy and science-fiction). I want them to have a TV series or Movie about them though I could watch before listening to them....
I would like to better manage my time reading and not get carried away. While I can set a time limit on any ebook app, I would prefer to limit myself by amount read (e.g. words, pages, chapters) so that rushing through the story is not incentivised....

I'm actually making progress on a book that I haven't touched for months, which feels quite nice.
I read the Handmaid's Tale yesterday, finally. I'm disappointed. I did not like the writing style at all, there was no real story, just descriptions. And then it just ended. No conclusion or anything....

Think of this thread as a mid year review:...
I’m frustrated with iBooks/Books as they bundle a bunch of cloud and purchases together and it’s impossible to organize them....

Are there any books that you've read, and like, but when you step back and think about the book you're surprised you like it?...
I've burned through like every audio drama I can think of. Trying Audible. I like cyberpunk and sci-fi like Neal Stephenson. Super dark and gritty fantasy like the Netflix show Castlevania or the audio drama Aethuran: Dark Saga....
