Hey I've been here for over a year but never did an #introduction. I'm Eph, I'm a birdsite refugee, and I'm a #pixelartist! I'm also a perpetually-tired dad of three kids (2 living, 1 dead), I'm a former #gamedev who burned out to land industry-adjacent, and I enjoys games but I'm not a Gamer.
@toplesstopics offered to help me find a smaller instance that might be a bit better-suited to me than this one, and I have no clue what I'm doing or where I'm going here, I've just been vibing since fleeing the birdsite
@ephesossh I mean, it's not a totally straightforward process, I would just look at some of the instances you find other people posting from, go to the instance page (instance name)/public and see if others there vibe with what you're looking for, then see if they're accepting new sign ups.
