@SirTapTap Lone Survivor is great, and your Silent Hill comparison is spot on. I remember following the developer, Jasper Byrne's blog while this was still in development. He seems like a cool guy.
Before he made Lone Survivor, Jasper also did a playable pixel art demake of SH2 called Soundless Mountain 2. It's only the very beginning of the game, but it's still a fun curiosity if you are a SH fan.
I don't say "2D silent hill" to say "it's a horror game", the aesthetics, the gameplay, and the story are all VERY much in line with good SH fare
Also, it does a brilliant thing where achievements only pop up after you save. No sudden pop up during intense scary moments. So simple but so effective.
@action_jay I played the hell out of it when it came out on my Vita. Went and bought it again because hey 50 cents and I'll probably get trophies again, good excuse to replay it
