I haven't played P3 yet, but the community really seems to love it. Now I'm more excited to try it out because it gets a new look and UI, which probably makes it more accessible than it was before.
I am so happy that this game gets the full on treatment. P3FES was my first game in the series and, still today, is one of the most meaningful gaming experiences I had. However I have a hard time recommending the original releases to people today even if they are fans of character driven RPGs; It's clunky, extremely RNG reliant and slow paced.
I hope that this remake will allow players to engage with the narrative in a new way allowing them to experience a dark and dramatic story.
That said: I also hope that we'll see quite some improvements. Especially when it comes to the Dungeon part of the game just "making you able to control the whole team" won't do; it will require a complete re-balance. People who modded the original P3 releases will know what I mean - and also remove the mandatory "romancing" of people of the opposite gender. I was in my teens when I played the original, I don't feel comfortable anymore with such actions when I am in my thirties tbh. Lastly I really hope that they will include the Epilogue "The Answer".
